For the best patients’ compliance for iron supplementation
Some population groups are more prone to suffer from iron deficiency. The World Health Organization (WHO) warns that iron-deficiency anaemia affects 24.8% of the world’s population, with children and women being the most affected groups. For example, it is common during menstruation in women with excessive bleeding, as well as in pregnant women, children and teenagers.

To support the health of the urinary tract
Urinary tract infections (UTIs) are infections affecting any part of your urinary system — kidneys, ureters, bladder and urethra. Most infections involve the lower urinary tract — the bladder and the urethra. They mainly affect the female gender and they are often accompanied by a continuous and painful need to urinate. In 85% of cases, cystitis are caused by the Escherichia Coli bacteria, and the infectious process depends, above all, on the adhesiveness of bacteria to the uroepithelial mucosa. Doctors typically treat urinary tract infections with antibiotics. However, cranberry supplements and products are amont the most popular and effective choices for a natural and alternative treatment for UTIs.
All Cistinam® formulations only contain type A2 proanthocyanidins and the Cranberry extract is 30 times more concentrated than the common Cranberry extracts. Proanthocyanidins help reduce bacterial adhesiveness to uroepithelial cells.
Cistinam® D is a dietary supplement based on Cranberry, D-Mannose and Mallow Extract, designed to support the normal urinary function.
- 30x more concentrated than common Cranberry Extract, added with D-Mannose and Mallow (emollient and soothing action)
- Single-dose sachets, easy to carry, easy to use
- Highly concentrated, highly soluble, pleasant to drink
PACKAGE SIZE: 14 single- dose sachets.
SUGGESTED USE: 1-2 sachet daily, Dissolve the powder in 200 ml water or in 500 ml water to be drunk throughout the day.
Supporting the health of the Urinary Tract
Cystitis is an inflammation of the urinary tract, generally caused by bacterial infection. In particular conditions, bacteria such as Escherichia coli, Streptococcus foecalis, Staphylococcus epidermidis and Klebsiella can contaminate the urethra, colonize it and rise towards the bladder, causing inflammation and infection. It is possible to distinguish between acute and recurrent cystitis: the acute form usually arises suddenly and is characterized by a frequent and painful urination, with little urine emission. There is a sense of weight in the lower abdomen, sometimes associated with a higher temperature. The relapsing form is generally the evolution of the acute form. The symptoms are the same as in acute cystitis, but with a tendency to recur over time.
Cistinam® Forte, thanks to the high concentration in Cranberry extract and Bromelain, is useful for the urinary tract. The concentration of Proanthocyanidins is critical to having a high-quality product. It has been shown that the Cranberry extract used in Cistinam Forte is about 30 times more concentrated, in terms of anti-adhesion effect, than common extracts.
- Cranberry efficiently helps maintain a healthy urinary tract and urinary function
- Helps prevent chronic infections of the urinary tract
- High concentration of the Cranberry extract (up to 30x times compared with common Cranberry extracts)
SUGGESTED USE: 1 or 2 tablets a day, to be swallowed with water, preferably on an empty stomach.
PACKAGE SIZE: 14 tablets in blister.
To support women’s health in fertile age and in menopause
Progesterone belongs to a group of steroid hormones called progestogens. It is mainly secreted by the corpus luteum in the ovary during the second half of the menstrual cycle. It plays important roles in the menstrual cycle and in maintaining the early stages of pregnancy. A deficiency of progesterone can lead to abundant and irregular menstruation, early and short luteal phase cycles, premenstrual syndrome with swings of mood, hot flushes in pre-and post-menopausal women, hyperprolactinemia, alterations of cutaneous tropism, premenstrual migraines and mastodynia, insomnia, sleep-wake cycle disorders, infertility. A drop in progesterone during pregnancy can result in a miscarriage and early labour. Lack of progesterone in the bloodstream can mean the ovary has failed to release an egg at ovulation, as can occur in women with polycystic ovary syndrome. Progesterone is used in hormone replacement therapy to relieve symptoms of menopause in women.
Progepril®, a natural supplement based on plant extracts of dioscorea, chastetree and damiana, helps to counteract menstrual cycle disorders and supports the physiological endogenous processes both in fertile and menopausal age.
- Helps regulate menstrual cycle and counteracts its symptoms (Dioscorea, Chastetree and Damiana)
- Helps reduce menopausal symptoms (Dioscorea)
- Lowers psycho-physical fatigue (Damiana)
SUGGESTED USE: 1-2 capsules a day for at least 14 days, to be taken under medical advice.
PACKAGE SIZE: 28 tablets in blister.
